Years ago we realized that many local churches were not meeting the needs of the Christian community. We talked to person after person who were struggling so much that they couldn’t reach out to others to fulfill the commission to spread the gospel. We knew Jesus was the answer and we knew that Jesus could do what He said He could do, so we began researching to figure out what was missing. The Holy Spirit is the agent of change. The Holy Spirit was sent to us to bring us out of distress and into peace. So this website and ministry was set up to help Christians discover the power they have through the Holy Spirit to fight the good fight of faith and win!
Over the course of 27 years, we developed Equipped: Equipping and Empowerment for Christians and Lay Ministers, which are 42 lessons designed to address the many issues that hinder most Christians. Once they overcome these issues in their own lives, many people then feel the confidence to reach out to others in their families and communities. As we taught these lessons in our own community / church, we saw significant change and spiritual growth. That’s why we have published these lessons into a full Lay Minister’s curriculum. We are confident that this is one of the most comprehensive resources available to help ordinary Christians overcome in their own lives and then fulfill the calling to help those around them.

There are many ways to use this Equipping Workbook Series:
- Read two to three pages a night, like a Devotional, meditate and pray over reading.
- Teach it as a Sunday School class in one, two, or three to five years span.
- Lead a Small Group at church, home, library, or another meeting place.
- A Christian course at a Bible School or a Four-year Christian College.
- A lunch-time Bible lesson in the workplace, especially for mature believers.
- A textbook for Home Church, this curriculum could last 3 to 5 years.
- A Sunday night or Wednesday night church gathering.
A unique effect of this Equipping Series is that the believer is trained by the Holy Spirit as well as the lessons. In a short period of time the boldness grows and the knowledge of the believer’s authority in Christ, plus the power of praying in agreement becomes evident, so much so, that within weeks a Lay Minister is born, and the gospel bears fruit.
